The Beneteau Sense model is a sailboat that offers plenty of space with a large kitchen, cockpit, and cabins. This 50-foot model is equipped with a double berth at the front, a double berth midships both with private toilet and shower. In starboard side there is an office that can be converted into a single or double berth. Additionally, there is a single berth in the starboard cockpit bench, referred to as the crew cabin.
Since there are no berths under the cockpit benches, there is incredible storage space, with room for everything. In the port side cockpit bench, a combination washer and dryer is installed, making life onboard easy. All electrical equipment can run directly from the boat’s 1,200Ah LifePo4 batteries and solar panels, so shore power is not necessary. This includes the washing machine, microwave, water maker, and more.
The boat is equipped with Beneteau’s Dock & Go system, allowing for movement in all directions, as the Z drive can rotate 360 degrees. This provides excellent maneuverability in tight harbor situations, eliminating harbor panic. Cameras in the mast enable a full view over the bow, making it easy to see if there’s space to maneuver, all from the helm.
The boat has been extra insulated, making it easy to maintain a comfortable indoor climate in both warm countries and during winter, as well as during high-latitude sailing in colder regions. The centrally mounted diesel stove in the saloon provides cozy warmth without noise and electrical power consumption, creating a similar ambiance to a wood stove.
The large kitchen, with ample counter space, double sink, three gas burners and stove, offers great cooking opportunities while still providing service area on the table island in the center of the boat. The island features a TV that can be electrically raised when in use and easily lowered when not needed. At the table in the saloon, there is easy space for six diners; the table can be lowered electrically so the sofa can convert into a double berth, or folded down to create a more intimate living space.
The Sense model’s saloon is positioned high, with only three steps down from the cockpit, providing a fantastic connection between the inside and outside areas. This is further enhanced by windows next to the steps, allowing easy communication between the kitchen and the helm.
The boat is equipped with everything needed for long journeys and is ready for departure, whether the trip is to colder or warmer climates.
The boat is in excellent condition and has never been used as a charter vessel.
